To celebrate Yonezawa City International Relations Association's 15th Anniversary and commemorate the move to the new downtown location, we'll be holding a special celebration! Featuring fun stage events, a chance to interact with fellow members as well as new friends from around Yonezawa and Yamagata Prefecture, and much, much more! Join us and celebrate international exchange in Yonezawa! ◆When: February 12th, from 11:30 - 14:00. Registration begins at 11:00. ◆Where: Tokyo Dai-ichi Hotel Yonezawa ◆Participation Fee: Members 2,000 yen, Non-members 3,000 yen, Students 1,000 yen ※Only 150 tickets will be sold. Multilingual Garbage Sorting Guide is Now Available!
In cooperation with the Civil Affairs and Environment Division, YIRA has produced a multilingual garbage sorting guide. Invaluable to daily life in Yonezawa City, the guide includes easy to follow illustrations. Copies are available at the YIRA Office as well as the Civil Affairs and Environment Division of Yonezawa City Hall.
The Yonezawa Multilingual Living Map is Now Available!
Public facilities, hospitals, schools, and other useful information necessary for daily living are listed on the map in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The map is conveniently sized so you can carry it with outside. They are available at the City Hall 1st floor Information Desk, 3rd floor YIRA Office, and at community centers in the city.
